Hometown: I grew up in White Rock, BC.
Education/Training: I attended Capilano University’s Musical Theatre Program straight out of high school and graduated in Spring of 2025. Since graduating, I’ve studied acting with Aaron Craven at Mitch and Murray productions, with Ben Immanuel at Haven Studio, and James Kot at Kot and King Creative Studios!
What influenced you to pursue a career in theatre?
My dad started taking me to see shows at Bard on the Beach when I was ten years old. There was a production of Romeo and Juliet in 2016 that I fell absolutely head over heels with and couldn’t stop thinking about in the weeks after I saw the show. I even wrote fan mail to the actress who played Juliet. I had never felt so moved by a story before and that feeling was so, so exciting.
What do you love about theatre?
I’m always discovering new things to love about what I do with every project and person I work with. The community is a beautiful thing and I’ve met some of my closest friends through theatre. But it’s also really exciting getting to live in the world of a show for a little bit and inhabit a character who is so far from yourself.
I’ve gotten to live so many different lives onstage and I think that gives you a better understanding of the world as a whole. You spend a lot of time trying to empathize with the character you’re playing, no matter how flawed they may be, and I think that helps anyone to become a more empathetic and patient person in real life. It’s all pretty magical.

What has been your favourite role in your career so far, and why?
It’s a toss-up! Working on Kimberly Akimbo was such a huge milestone for me. It was my first professional contract and the people I worked with on that show are some of the most beautiful, talented and inspiring artists I’ve ever met. It reignited my love for what I do in a really special way.
However, playing Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. It was my first time in a Shakespeare play and getting to perform in the very story that first made me fall in love with theatre was hugely cathartic. The work ethic of some of my fellow actors in that show was on another level and changed the way I approach acting as a whole. It was a challenge in the best possible way.
If you hadn’t become a performer, what might you have pursued professionally?
Outside of acting, I work with animals, and that’s always been a plan B for me down the line. That could look like a lot of things. I’d love to work with a shelter, a rescue society, or a rehabilitation centre for wildlife.
Right now, I’m working as a bather in a dog grooming salon which has actually been really fun. Down the line, I’d love to go through a training program so I can work as a professional dog groomer.
I also love the idea of working with animals on film sets and stage productions. I could be Bruiser’s personal trainer in the next Legally Blonde. That would be awesome!
Career goals?
There are so many things I’d love to do! Shakespeare was my first love, so I’ve always dreamed of performing some of my favourite plays on a major scale, maybe at Stratford or as far as the UK.
I’d love to branch more into film and straight acting after spending so many years in the musical theatre world. There are SO many great plays out there that I would love to see mounted in Vancouver and would love the chance to be a part of.
I’ve always wanted to travel for work and perform in parts of the world I’ve never seen – I’ll be lucky enough to explore a bit of Canada this Fall with Green Thumb Theatre! But I’d love to do a contract outside the country someday.
However, at the end of the day, my main goal like any other young actor is to make a living being able to do what I love most. The dream is truly for this to become my real job.
