Education/Training: Three years at CapU’s musical theatre program, and five years with Bay Theatrix doing plays/musicals, directing, stage managing, and “music directing” (teaching harmonies and telling people to sing.)
What influenced you to pursue a career in theatre?
Bringing Subway sandwiches to my older sister’s theatre rehearsals, and watching her plays and musicals. I loved Michael Jackson and dancing when I was younger, and always danced at my elementary school talent shows, so I never wanted to stop performing!
What do you love about theatre?
I love the idea of a group of people connecting and working together taking nothing more than words on a page and turning them into magical experiences for people to enjoy.

What has been your favourite role in your career so far, and why?
Gomez Addams will always hold a special place in my heart. He was the first lead role I played, and “Happy/Sad” was my audition song for Capilano, so it seems poetic that he was my send off for Capilano.
If you hadn’t become a performer, what might you have pursued professionally?
I’ve always loved playing guitar, though I guess that still counts as performing. Perhaps I’d sell cars. I’m good at acting trustworthy enough to get people to spend $50k on something I know nothing about. But I probably would’ve just stuck to guitar composition.
Career goals?
One day I’d like to see an angry Instagram comment on a post for a movie, TV show, or stage production of something I’ve done. And I want it to go viral enough that I see it myself. That’s how you know you’ve made it. That or Broadway would be a good sign you made it, but I’m really banking on that internet hate comment.
