Hometown: I was born and raised in Port Moody, BC, a small city in Greater Vancouver that’s in between Coquitlam and Burnaby!

Education: My education begins back in elementary school. I officially started singing in choir(s) when I was in grade 4. Then continued with choir, and began band, vocal jazz and musical theatre in middle/ high school. Then decided to further my training and fully pursue performing when I was accepted into Capilano University’s Musical Theatre and Performing Arts program, which I recently graduated from in the spring of 2025.

What influenced you to pursue a career in theatre?

I grew up in a very musical household, having two musicians for parents. Both my Mom and Dad made sure me and my brothers were very musically involved from a young age, signing us up for piano lessons and encouraging us to join band/choir.

So I was constantly surrounded by music, all different genres and forms of it, Broadway show tunes being one of those genres because my dad was/is a high school performing arts teacher and a big fan of anything theatre related. He was the first person who officially introduced me to the world of musical theatre and encouraged me to give it a try!

What do you love about theatre?

I love the way theatre and performing makes me feel. Being able to deeply connect and express myself with no judgement, and I love being able to tell stories in such a creative, artistic, and engaging manner. I truly feel like I’m doing something right when I’m on stage. It makes me feel whole.

Which plays and musicals were you in, and what were your roles?

Recent Credits Include:

  • Into The Woods – The Witch (Gleneagle Theatre)
  • The Threepenny Opera – Jenny Diver (CapU Theatre)
  • RENT – Mrs. Cohen/Soloist/Ensemble (Metro Theatre)
  • Alice by Heart – Clarissa/Mock Turtle/Jabber Soldier (CapU Theatre)
  • Into The Woods: In Concert – Little Red Riding Hood (Play On Words Productions)
  • Pippin – Player/Leading Player u/s (Play On Words Productions)

If you hadn’t become a performer, what might you have pursued professionally?

If I didn’t choose to pursue performing, I most likely would have become some form of a first responder. Either a paramedic or a firefighter!

Career goals?

Like many theatre performers and young actors, a huge dream and goal of mine is to make it to Broadway. I’ve wanted to perform on a Broadway stage, in New York City since I was 11 years old.

I also would really like to explore and make a career out of TV and Film. There are so many genres of TV and Film that I’d love to delve into and so many stories out there that need to be told, and I’d love to be given the opportunity to share those important stories on the big screen.
