Hometown: I’m super lucky to say I was born in Squamish, BC!

Education: I studied at Studio 58 for Acting!

What influenced you to pursue a career in theatre?

My first hook into theatre was watching and being obsessed with the Lord of the Rings appendices. The insight on the production’s camaraderie was so influential and I just needed it.

When I experienced that for the first time during my time in Hair the Musical while in high school, I was set on theatre being my career. I continue to have that love reignited as I move from project to project!

What do you love about theatre?

The ability to be connected with your audience and follow the ebb and flow of the story with them is a remarkable feeling.

Connection and story are never more palpable than while on stage. I love it! I’m also extremely fond of the rehearsal process.

Performing a show is one thing, but creating is something so important to me.

Which plays and musicals were you in, and what were your roles?

I have performed as:

  • Friendship in Everybody by Kim Collier
  • Eddie in A Rocky Horror Show by Josh Epstein
  • Brad Bacon in Men Express their Feelings by Cameron Mikenzie
  • Jonathan Harker in Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors by Mark Carter
  • Zeke Baylor in High School Musical: On Stage! by Chad Matchette
  • Trev in Caged by Rachel Aberle

Coming up: Ronald in A Paper Bag Princess by Carousel Theatre

If you hadn’t become a performer, what might you have pursued professionally?

If I hadn’t become a performer, I’d likely have gone into linguistics focusing on speech therapy. While also dabbling in dialect coaching.

Career goals?

My goal in theatre is to become established and work across Canada, and even the world. Performing in art that uplift communities, takes steps forward in terms of professionalism and equitability, and pushes to properly pay their cast and crew.

I also want to bring my love for Dungeons and Dragons into my profession and is an active pursuit for me in the years to come!
